Nintendo has shared some details about how photo evaluation will work in New Pokemon Snap.
Like with previous games, players’ photographs will be judged by Professor Mirror based on a number of important factors such as the Pokemon’s pose, how large it is, whether it is facing the camera, as well as where they fall into frame.
The original Pokemon Snap also had “special poses” which were difficult to find, and it is likely these will return in the new title. We will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
New Pokemon Snap launches on April 30th for Switch.
