Nintendo Files Trademark For “Triforce” in Japan

Nintendo has filed for a trademark on the word “Triforce” from The Legend of Zelda in Japan. If successful, the trademark will cover all use of the word in the video games market, including smartphones and home console.

It is unsure if Nintendo is looking to do anything with it but it seems like Nintendo is just trying to protect one of their intellectual properties.
