Nintendo has released a statement acknowledging a bug in Fire Emblem Engage.
This bug is related to the game’s Relay Trials feature, which allows players to work together to clear Challenge Maps in a relay format, with different players taking over after each turn. Currently, when players choose to “Take Over” a match after selecting the “Random” matchup option, they are met with an error message that says “no data to take over”. This bug was reportedly not present prior to the Day One Patch.
According to Nintendo’s official statement, they are currently investigating the bug and will presumably put out a fix for it once done. For now, players interested in participating in Relay Trials will have to either start a new match on their own, or pick up other players’ matches using codes. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
