Having trouble finding physical copes of Metroid Prime Remastered at your local game store? Well, you may want to keep an eye out for restocks soon.
Following the launch of the game’s physical edition in February which quickly sold out at multiple US retail stores, Nintendo of America has come out with an official statement recognizing that there is “strong demand” for the title. In response, the company shared that it will be making an effort to provide restocks “as soon as possible”.
Here’s the full statement from Nintendo, courtesy of Nintendo Life:
We will do everything we can to meet the strong demand for the product. Please continue to check with major retailers for availability. If the Metroid Prime Remastered game sells out at various retail locations in the U.S., we will work to provide more units as soon as possible.
This may come as a relief to many Metroid fans who missed their chance to purchase Metroid Prime Remastered physically in the past week – especially due to a spike in scalpers who quickly scooped up copies of the game to sell at inflated prices. Hopefully, Nintendo will be able to get enough fresh copies of the game out in the wild to alleviate the situation soon.
