Nintendo Korea Leaks Donkey Kong Bananza Story Spoiler By Accident

A banner on Nintendo Korea’s official website for Donkey Kong Bananza has revealed an important story spoiler by accident.

While the banner has already been taken down, copies of it have started circulating on the internet.

Do not proceed beyond this point if you do not want to see the spoilers.

The banner shows a female character wearing a red dress, widely speculated to be Pauline or someone who is related to her. This suggests that at some point in the game, she will become Donkey Kong’s partner character:

For comparison’s sake, here is the official key art that Nintendo released on April 2, 2025, featuring Donkey Kong and the purple rock character:

Given that the female character is wearing a purple bracelet and both characters have blue eyes, it is highly likely that the purple rock character is the female character, and she can transform into it and vice versa.

The existence of the leaked asset also suggests that Nintendo will officially reveal this female character at some point before launch.
