In the last few days, Nintendo Switch resale prices soared in the United States as retailers across the country ran out of stock due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
Nintendo of America has issued an official statement, assuring consumers that more stock is on the way and apologized for the inconvenience caused:
“Nintendo Switch hardware is selling out at various retail locations in the U.S., but more systems are on the way. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
