When it first came out, the NES Classic was in such a huge demand that Nintendo’s supply just could not keep up with it. It did not help too that, at that time, Nintendo claimed that the system was not going to see a reprint.

In a Tweet by Nintendo of America, Nintendo promises that the NES Classic will continually be restocked through the end of the year, meaning you do not need to resort to paying scalper prices for an NES Classic.
