Today we have received some news about Mario Kart Tour directly from Nintendo.

Wall Street Journal’s Takashi Mochizuki has reported Nintendo is indeed working on online play for Mario Kart Tour, though they have nothing to announce at this time:

Looks like we’ll have to wait awhile longer for online play to come to Mario Kart Tour.
