Nintendo Says Stance On Nintendo Direct Hasn’t Changed, Even Though It’s Been Awhile Since The Last

During today’s Nintendo fiscal earnings release, Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki asked Nintendo a very important question.

The question asked was whether Nintendo has changed their stance on delivering new information through Nintendo Direct, as the company has been releasing new information through tweets and Facebook posts in January 2019.

Nintendo told Mochizuki that they have not changed their stance on Nintendo Directs, so you can probably expect a Direct to land in the near future when Nintendo decides it’s time to reveal new games.

Q: Notice new info coming out of tweets instead of Direct. Stance changed?

A: You might have felt that way since it’s been a while since last Direct. But answer is No. No stance changes.

What do you think?
