Nintendo Shares Soar 4.34% After Pokemon Let’s GO Announcement

After The Pokemon Company announced Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee for Nintendo Switch, the price of Nintendo shares in the Japanese stock market rose by 4.34%.

Nintendo owns a 32% stake in The Pokemon Company, as well as shares in Pokemon developer Game Freak.

Looks like investors are confident that Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee will help Nintendo to deliver profits and increase the Switch user base later this year.
