Nintendo Spends $1.3M On Labo TV Ads, Third Highest Ad Spender In Games Industry

Nintendo is not shy about making their products heard far and wide and in a recent Gamesbeat report, we get to find out how much the gaming giant is actually spending to make sure you see their products on TV.

According to Gamesbeat, Nintendo is the third largest spending on TV advertising amongst all of the gaming industry at $3.4 million, just behind FoxNext and Sony’s PlayStation.

If you are wonder where most of the money is going to, about $1.3 million out of the $3.4 million went to Nintendo Labo’s Variety Kit alone. The commercial was aired across multiple children networks such as Nickelodeon.

We can start to see where Nintendo Labo’s popularity among elementary school students is coming from. At $1.3 million spent on just one of Labo’s two kits, those are some expensive cardboards.
