Nintendo Starts Countdown For The Launch Of Link’s Awakening On Switch, Shares ‘5 Days’ Artwork

In anticipation of the game’s release on Switch, Nintendo has commenced its own countdown series for The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

With five days left to go, Nintendo’s first countdown post features one of the moblins. Moblins are a recurring enemy that take various forms in different Zelda games – but they most commonly appear as horrifying pig creatures. This time, they’ll also be returning to haunt Link’s adventure on Koholint Island!

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening launches for Switch on 20 September 2019. You can still pre-order the Steelbook Edition of the game from the NintendoSoup Store, or grab a standalone copy of the game over on Amazon (both options ship worldwide).
