Two new pieces of information about the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2 have been shared, following the system’s launch in Asia Pacific.

Nintendo Switch games that are not compatible with Nintendo Switch 2, or those that had problems running in basic compatibility testing, cannot be purchased on the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2. They will be listed as “not available for purchase” along with a warning that the game is unsupported on the product page:

In addition, if you’ve set your theme to Basic Dark, you will be able to browse the Nintendo eShop in Dark Mode, as shown in the images above. This wasn’t possible on Nintendo Switch.
