Famitsu has shared the estimated sales data and rankings for video game products in Japan for the week ending June 15, 2025.
Estimates show that the Nintendo Switch 2 moved 153,205 units in its second week, bringing its lifetime total up to 1,101,136 units. Mario Kart World was the bestselling title in Japan last week at 134,900 copies sold (lifetime total: 917,466 units), and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe returned to the top 10 charts at 6,460 copies sold.
It’s also worth mentioning that the Nintendo Switch family of systems sold a combined total of 13,319 units, a respectable number of sales considering that the Nintendo Switch 2 has launched.
