AIC, the official Nintendo distributor in Saudi Arabia, has announced a price increase for Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.
The standalone Nintendo Switch 2 console will increase from SAR1,999 (USD533) to SAR2,149 (USD573) from July 8, 2025. A similar price increase will apply to the Mario Kart World bundle as well, which will retail for SAR2,349 (USD626).
The distributor explained that “global market conditions” is the reason behind the price increases. Prices will not be changed for Nintendo Switch 2 software, accessories, and other Nintendo Switch products.
This seems to be the first price increase for Nintendo Switch 2 after launch, taking place just one month after its release.
