Nintendo Switch 2 Sold Two Times More Than Switch At Launch In The UK

NielsenIQ data has revealed how Nintendo Switch 2 performed at launch in the United Kingdom.

According to the data, Nintendo Switch 2 is Nintendo’s best-performing system at launch, beating the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch. It outsold Nintendo Switch by over two times.

However, despite being Nintendo’s best-performing launch system, it failed to become the best-selling launch system across the three video game platform companies, as the PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X/S had the biggest launches in the UK.

It’s worth noting that the UK hasn’t been Nintendo’s strongest market in Europe. Instead, it performs better in other markets like France and Germany.
