Nintendo has published its latest financial results for the fiscal year ending in March 2021, revealing some updated hardware sales figures for the Nintendo Switch.

As of 31st March 2021, the Switch has officially hit 84.59 million in total lifetime sales. This means that it has officially surpassed the lifetime sales of the Game Boy Advance, which sold 81.5 million in its lifetime. In the last fiscal year alone, the Switch shipped a total of 28.83 million Switch units, which is a new high for the console after the previous fiscal year’s 21.03 million. Of those 28.83 million units, 20.32 million were for the standard Switch, while 8.51 million were for the Switch Lite.
