GamesIndustry has published a report on Nintendo Switch Lite launch sales in the United Kingdom.
According to retailers the outlet spoke to, 13,500 units of the Nintendo Switch Lite were sold in its first week, which is a considered a slow start. Still, retailers in the UK believe the Switch Lite will sell in the long run, especially when Pokemon Sword and Shield launches this November. So it is too early to say whether it’s a success or failure yet.
For comparison’s sake, the Nintendo 2DS moved 200,000 units in its first two months in the UK, with sales starting to pick up after Pokemon X/Y were released in mid October 2013.
