Japanese video game publication Automaton has posted an interesting article with what seems to indicate an official Nintendo Switch launch in mainland China.
According to the report, Chinese conglomerate Tencent is going to work with Nintendo to officially release the Nintendo Switch and other video games in mainland China in the near future. This is because in a list of video games approved for release by the Chinese government, Nintendo Switch titles and a demo version New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe were spotted on that list. It is highly likely this demo will be packed in with consoles sold in China.
The Wall Street Journal has also backed up the report put out by Automaton, so an official Nintendo Switch launch in mainland China should more or less on the way this year.
