Nintendo has announced they will be doing a playtest for a new feature coming to the Switch Online Expansion Pack.
Starting October 10th, Switch Online Expansion Pack subscribers can sign up for a chance to try out this unknown new feature. That said, they will need to meet the following requirements to be eligible:
- Have a Nintendo Account
- Be an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack member
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be registered in any of the following countries: Japan, US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain
In Japan, participants will be drawn via a lottery raffle, while other countries will select participants via a first-come first-serve basis. Interested players can sign up to be considered on the official page here, with applications open until October 15th.
At the time of this writing, it is not known what this new feature actually is, although we do know that those selected for the playtest will need to download some new software on their Switch to try it out. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
