Previously, we reported that the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Overview Trailer had amassed a large amount of dislikes on Youtube, much higher than is typical of a Nintendo announcement.
Since then, the amount of dislikes on the trailer has been steadily increasing, and it has now become Nintendo’s most disliked Youtube video of all time at over 102,000 dislikes against 17,000 likes. For comparison, Nintendo’s previous most disliked video was the 2015 trailer for Metroid Prime: Federation Force, which has 96,000 dislikes and 11,000 likes.
Between the release of the trailer and for the service itself, the Switch Online Expansion Pack has come under fire for a variety of issues, ranging from fans feeling that the amount of content is not worth its asking price, to criticisms that many of the games are plagued with technical problems and do not match up with existing emulation efforts.
