Nintendo has launched another firmware update for their Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite systems.
If your console is connected to the internet, firmware update version 12.0.0 should now available to download from the systems setting menu.
This time, the update seems to just resolve a “rare” issue regarding the system’s save data backup feature for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Here are the precise details below, according to Nintendo:
Ver. 12.0.0 (Released April 5, 2021)
We fixed the issue with the save data backup feature, where in rare cases, the automatic backup of save data is interrupted if a communication error occurs during completion of the save data backup process.
