Nintendo Takes Down Web Based Game Boy Advance Emulator

Nintendo has shut down a Javascript-powered Game Boy Advance emulator hosted on developer platform GitHub.

The emulator allowed visitors to play Game Boy Advance titles from the Advance Wars, Super Mario, Pokemon, and The Legend of Zelda series.

At the time of writing, a few emulators similar to this one are still live on GitHub, so Nintendo still has some work to do if they plan on taking down every single one of them.

The latest DMCA takedown comes right after Nintendo of America went after two popular ROM distribution websites.
