Earlier this year, Nintendo opened the first official Nintendo store in Tokyo Japan to overwhelming positive reception.
So popular is the store that it continues to see massively long lines even to this day, with some fans waiting between 4-6 hours to get inside. The store’s interior is also constantly packed, with some customers saying that it can take half and hour just to make a purchase.
In a comment shared by Bloomberg, Nintendo spokesperson Tomokazu Nakaura said that Nintendo was “grateful to many people visiting every day” and “sorry to keep customers waiting.” on account of the long lines.
Seeing the store’s massive success, one wonders if Nintendo will consider opening more outlets in the future. If nothing else, it should certainly alleviate some of Nintendo TOKYO’s overcrowding woes!
