In a Nikkei interview with incoming Nintendo President and CEO Shuntaro Furukawa, Furukawa expressed his interest in increasing the number of countries Nintendo Switch is sold in.
Furukawa said Nintendo is currently selling products in around 50 countries, and hopes to offer the Nintendo Switch in more countries in Southeast Asia and Middle East through sales distributors.
Both regions are currently taken care by sales distributor Active Boeki, however they only officially operate in a handful number of countries in both regions.
