There was quite a bit of mystery as to what Nintendo was doing at Universal CityWalk Hollywood yesterday when they placed a filming warning board in the area. It turns out that they were actually filming a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Tournament that was held in the area.
As you can see there are people in heavy cosplay gear while the players were comfortably sitted on Mario Kart themed chairs. Mystery solved.
