NPD: Pokemon Sword/Shield Have The Strongest Launch Month Sales Of Any Pokemon Title In The US

Industry analyst Mat Piscatella, who works for the NPD group, has shared some new data about Pokemon Sword And Shield‘s launch sales in the US.

According to NPD’s latest sales data, Pokemon Sword And Shield combined now have the strongest launch month sales of any Pokemon title in the US, surpassing Pokemon Sun And Moon. Furthermore, both titles (along with the double pack) were among the best-selling titles in the US for November period:

• Pokemon Sword was the 3rd best-selling game in the US for November.
• The Pokemon Sword/Shield double pack was the 4th.
• Pokemon Shield was 5th.
• The total combined sales of all three make Pokemon Sword/Shield the 2nd best-selling game in the US for November, surpassed only be Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019
