Octopath Traveler Isn’t Getting A Collector’s Edition In Japan

Last week, Nintendo announced the Octopath Traveler: Wayfarer’s Edition for customers living in North America and Europe during the recent Nintendo Direct.

A similar Octopath Traveler Collector’s Edition announcement wasn’t present in the Japanese Nintendo Direct, causing many fans to question Square Enix about its availability.

The company answered on Twitter that unfortunately, Octopath Traveler will not be getting a Collector’s Edition release in Japan. On the other hand, Square Enix is preparing other Octopath Traveler related merchandise and campaigns for the Japanese market, telling fans to stay tuned for more information.

Octopath Traveler launches July 13, 2018 on Nintendo Switch.
