Yesterday, Square Enix surprised Chinese fans around the globe by announcing a highly anticipated official Chinese localization update for Octopath Traveler, arriving in June 2019.
After the update was announced, third party video game sellers in mainland China reacted swiftly by increasing prices of the game. Prices as of now are at least RMB450, equivalent to around USD67 or 7 dollars over the US manufacturer’s suggested retail price:
