Earlier this month, Nintendo officially revealed the Switch 2 ,which features a new design for the Joy-cons where they attach to the console magnetically.
In a short video posted on the new console’s official website, Nintendo shows off how to detach the Joy-cons from the console. As speculated from the leaks, players will need to press a small button on the side of the Joy-con, which which appears to push out a peg to smoothly detach it from the main unit.
That said, until we get the console in our hands, we won’t know for sure how securely this mechanic attaches and removes the Joy-cons from the screen. Stay tuned for more as it comes.
