Nintendo Switch Online, a paid subscription that allows players to play online and access other features, was released just last month.
During today’s briefing at the second quarter fiscal earnings release, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa revealed a few details on how Nintendo Switch Online has performed.
While Furukawa did not reveal exactly how many Nintendo Switch owners have subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online, he did say that more than 50% of Nintendo Switch Online subscribers have purchased the 12 month plan. He did not elaborate whether the 12 month plan includes the 12 month Family plan.
This makes a lot of sense given that the 12 month plan is the cheapest plan, if you count it on a monthly basis.
