Kiyo, one of the largest YouTubers in Japan with millions of subscribers, praised the Nintendo Switch 2’s microphone in a tweet on June 14, 2025.
The content creator was amazed by the power of the built-in microphone’s noise-cancelling feature. In a Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour tech demo, the noise-cancelling feature could be tested, demonstrating that the Nintendo Switch 2 can remove background noises made from appliances such as vacuum cleaners while clearly extracting and replicating the user’s voice.
