Bad news – Tokyo RPG Factory, a development studio that is a Square Enix subsidiary, has reported huge losses in the last fiscal year ending March 2020.
Tokyo RPG Factory reported that they had lost 154 million yen in the last fiscal year, or about USD1.4 million. In the fiscal year ending March 2019, Tokyo RPG Factory made 88.3 million yen, or about USD835,000. The cause behind the losses is unknown at this time. Tokyo RPG Factory’s released Oninaki in 2019, and developed titles such as I am Setsuna and Lost Sphear.
