Switch owners can now look forward to adding Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition to their physical collections!
iam8bit has revealed that it will be publishing a physical edition of the space-exploration adventure. As seen above, a retail release of the game is in the works – with the Echoes of the Eye expansion included on the cartridge and a bonus fold-out poster.
In addition to this, iam8bit also revealed that it will be opening preorders for a Collector’s Edition of the game exclusively on its webstore over here, starting from 29 February 2024 (9am PT). For $99.99 USD, the Collector’s Edition (shown below) will include a Canvas Traveler’s Adventure Bag, an Explorer’s Journal + Game Sleeve, Chert’s Bandana, a Set of 7 Planetary Patches, a “Bonus item from a doomed timeline”, and an Eye of the universe clasp.
