Having a blast with Overwatch: Legendary Edition on Switch? Well, fans might be in for more of the franchise in the future!
Several new internal images for an Overwatch sequel, simply titled Overwatch 2, have apparently leaked throughout the internet. While unconfirmed by Blizzard, the supposed development shots seem to depict a new logo, Tracer’s upgrade UI, and renders of other characters in some story sequence. Here’s a peek at them below.
That’s not all to the leaks, however. ESPN later claimed to have obtained a new image from a Blizzcon 2019 demo guide – which depicts Lucio next to the exact same ‘Overwatch 2’ logo from the first set of leaked images. If this demo guide is legit, it means that fans will probably get their first reveal of the sequel at Blizzcon 2019 (taking place from 2 to 3 November 2019).
Of course, all of this is hearsay until Blizzard officially reveals a sequel for real. As with all unconfirmed information, we urge all our readers to take this information with a grain of salt for now.
We’ll report back if and when we hear more in the future. Stay tuned.
