Overwatch Director Says He’s Open To The Idea Of Porting Overwatch To Nintendo Switch

During an event in South Korea, Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan participated in an interview to share his thoughts on the future of Overwatch.

One of the questions asked was whether it’s really possible for Overwatch to make its way to Nintendo Switch. Kaplan responded that Blizzard Entertainment has recently brought Overwatch to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and would focus on supporting those platforms, so there are no plans to release it on Switch for now.

However, the developers of Overwatch are still open to the idea of launching the game not just on Switch but other platforms as well, as long as the system is capable of running it. This is pretty similar to what Blizzard has publicly announced in the past.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
