During the 2023 Game Awards show, Singularity 6 announced the Switch release date for their free-to-play MMO Palia.
Originally confirmed for Switch back in June, the cozy adventure sim will be available for Switch starting from December 14th 2023, a few months after its PC release. Being completely free-to-play, and active Switch Online subscription will not be required to enjoy the game.
The Switch version will have cross-play and cross-progression with the PC version, and there will be some special rewards for players who link their PC and Switch Palia accounts together:
- Leapfroggy Outfit Account Linking Reward: Switch up your look and hop around in style when you link your Nintendo Switch to your Palia account until January 14th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PT to earn the time-limited Leapfroggy Outfit reward.
- Mushroom Glider Account Linking Reward: Link your Nintendo Switch to a Palia account to receive an exclusive glider that will have you traversing the Palian landscape faster than a rogue ‘Flothinger.’
- Freshly Painted Froggy Bucket Log-in Reward: Log-in and play Palia starting on launch day to claim this time-limited crimson variant of the fan-favorite Froggy Bucket before the reward window croaks on March 14th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
