Following the release of the Switch 2, many Switch 1 titles received updates that allowed them to take advantage of the new console’s specs for better performance and visuals.
Now, it has been confirmed that developer Panic Button was specifically approached by Nintendo to work on these updates. Panic Button is famous for helping to port many major titles to the original Switch, including Doom: Eternal, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, Apex Legends, Warframe, and more. For the Switch 2, Panic Button confirmed they helped update Super Mario Odyssey, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, and ARMS.
