With March just around the corner, some fans might be all too busy thinking about nothing but Animal Crossing: New Horizons. If you still can’t afford a Switch, however – well, you might just able to find a bizarre alternative on PC, instead…
Recently, some indie developers revealed Hokko Life – a life sim game where players move into a town of talking animals, spruce up houses, go fishing…and you probably get the picture. It’s remarkably similar to what Animal Crossing fans love, and it even involves some resource-gathering (e.g. woodcutting) much like the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
Don’t believe us? Check out the reveal trailer below!
Of course, some folks were quick to point out these similarities. You can check out GameXplain’s discussion about Hokko Life below:
But what do YOU think? Does Hokko Life borrow too much inspiration from Animal Crossing series? Or are you interested to try this out when it launches on PC in the future? Feel free to share your thoughts below!
