US accessory maker PDP has announced a brand new type of controller for Nintendo Switch.
The controller, named Faceoff Deluxe + Audio, comes with a headphone jack allowing players to listen to in-game music with headphones and use audio chat. This is the first ever Switch controller in the market with a headphone jack. The Faceoff Deluxe + Audio is also capable of adjusting sound volume, and there are two extra buttons which you can configure to perform other types of functions.
PDP marketing head John Moore has this to say:
“When we set out to make the Faceoff Deluxe + Audio the best third-party peripheral of Nintendo Switch, we focused on giving the best possible design and personalization, also making communication through audio chat as simple as possible. We worked with Vivox to make sure that this could come true, and now that we have achieved it, they are telling the developers.“
Pre-orders will begin in May 2019 and the controller will launch this summer in the west.
