Earlier this month, we reported on rumors that Persona 5 would get an updated port on Nintendo Switch. The rumor first emerged due to the registration of the domain names “P5U.jp” and “P5R.jp” by Atlus.
Now, it seems like something is indeed happening behind the scenes – unbeknownst to Persona fans.
Previously, those two domain names were held on Onamae (a Japanese domain registrar) for squatting purposes. Today, however, the domain “P5R.jp” was moved to Atlus’ name servers instead – meaning that the videogames publisher should be using it soon. Of course, there’s nothing indicating that this will be a new videogame – or that it will even hit the Switch. We’ll report back with updates when we hear more.
