Phantom Fury, Sequel To Ion Fury, Announced For Switch

Publisher 3D realms and developer Slipgate Ironworks have announced Phantom Fury, the sequel to their retro-style FPS Ion Fury.

Phantom Fury picks up many years after the previous game left off, and follows the main heroine Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison as a new mission takes her across the US in a road-movie inspired plot. It is planned to launch sometime in 2023 for Switch and other platforms.

Check out the trailer below, along with additional details via 3D Realms:

  • A Wide Range of Unlockable Skills and Upgrades – Weapons aren’t the only way to overcome the many challenges waiting along the way. Upgrade your bionic arm and suit with powerful new abilities, such as a punch attack or an electric shield.
