Nintendo successfully kicked off their first ever ARMS Grand Prix in Nagoya last Sunday, 22 October 2017, despite a heavy typhoon and it was a blast. In a Japanese Nintendo Blog post, Nintendo showed off a couple of pictures highlighting the event.
Participants both young and old gathered for the tournament qualifiers and fought for a chance to be in the Finals in December.
After a series of matches, the Nagoya leg heated up with the final 16. Even a panel of commentators was set up to commentate on the fierce fights.
