Strange news coming from Madrid, Spain – several Pikachu mascots have appeared at a pro-environment protest to stop the use of coal for electricity.
The mascots, which were seen surrounding the protestors, appear to be unauthorized and counterfeit costumes not manufactured by The Pokemon Company.
Some Japanese Pokemon fans have ridiculed the protestors for using the fake Pikachu mascots in their protest, calling them a “problematic bunch”.
