When Pokemon Center Tokyo DX opens at Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. East on March 14, a special exhibition will also be taking place the same day.
Called Captivation’s Radiance: Gold Exhibition, visitors will be able to admire objects made of real gold from March 14 to March 19, 2018 on the 8th floor of Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. East.
To commemorate the opening of Pokemon Center Tokyo DX, the people behind the exhibition have prepared a giant statue of Pikachu made from gold to grace the event. While the statue is not for sale, trainers can bring home a 5cm tall mini Pikachu figure made from 24 karat (100%!!) pure gold that costs 432,000 yen (USD4071).
Too expensive? Perhaps you can consider the Pikachu/PokeBall pendant instead. It’s made of 24 karat gold, priced at 162,000 yen (USD1526).
