Ash Satoshi Voice Actress Is Now A Cool Japan Ambassador

Exciting news from Japan – the Japanese voice actress for Ash Satoshi in the Pokemon anime, Riko Matsumoto, has been selected by the Japanese government to become a Cool Japan ambassador.

Cool Japan is an initiative by the Japanese government to help convey the charm of Japan to those overseas. They hope this will help to boost tourism in Japan. As Cool Japan ambassador, Matsumoto will be able to attend cabinet level meetings to determine the direction of the Cool Japan program.
