Although there were no signs of Pikmin 4 during this year’s E3 presentation and Treehouse Live, Pikmin creator Shigeru Miyamoto has given an update on how the game is going along.
Speaking to Eurogamer, Miyamoto confirmed that development is progressing well. “I’ve been told not to share anything about this from PR,” Miyamoto laughed, “but I can tell you it is progressing.”
Nintendo followed up with a statement, “We can confirm that Pikmin 4 is in development but that is all we can confirm at present.”
While the long wait continues for Pikmin 4, you may want to check out Hey! Pikmin, a new 2D Pikmin adventure for Nintendo 3DS which launches on July 28, 2017.
