Pikmin 4 Now The Best-Selling Game In The Franchise

Nintendo recently published their  latest earnings report for the six months ending September 30th 2023, revealing that Pikmin 4 has crossed a major sales milestone.

According to Nintendo’s report, Pikmin 4 has sold  2.61 million units as of September 30th 2023. This figure has made it the highest selling Pikmin game of all time, overthrowing the previous title holder Pikmin 3 Deluxe, which had a lifetime sales figure of 2.23 million units. It should be noted that Pikmin 4 managed to accomplish this feat in less than 3 months, with sales likely to climb even higher over time.

This impressive feat is no doubt due to the Switch’s massive playerbase, as well as the tremendous hype surrounding the title, which has been in-development since at least 2015. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
