PlatinumGames Considering Releasing More Self-Published Games Following The Wonderful 101: Remastered’s Success

The Wonderful 101: Remastered, which was PlatinumGames’ very first self-published game in their 14 years as a company, was an overwhelming success, and it appears that it won’t be their last!

Following the game’s release, PlatinumGames’ president and CEO Kenichi Sato has revealed in a blog post that the studio is already considering more self-published games like The Wonderful 101: Remastered. That being said, Platinum will still continue to work with other publishers moving forward as well, such as with Bayonetta 3, which is still in development and being published by Nintendo.

We’re already thinking about self-published games to come. But don’t take that to mean we’re going to stop working with other publishers, too! That will continue as well.

Would you support another self-published Platinum game? Let us know in the comments!
