Playtonic Games Confirms That They Are Not Working On A New Banjo-Kazooie Title

Earlier this week, there was a lot of commotion about the ex-RARE developers at Playtonic Games possibly working on the Banjo-Kazooie series again. Sadly, it looks like all that speculation and hearsay was just hogwash.

Playtonic Games released an official statement today about the matter – noting that the murmurs had gone out of hand. In particular, they state clearly that their developers are NOT working on a new Banjo-Kazooie title. Additionally, they commented on how funny it was that one photo of a Microsoft bag by its staff started this mess in the first place.

You can read the full post from the Playtonic below.

At least Playtonic Games were straightforward about the situation. Whatever the case, we definitely look forward to seeing what else they have in store after Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair!
